Business Insider on the VideoByte deal
Business Insider wrote up the VideoByte acquisition a couple weeks after we announced it. Their angle was the one I care about most in the coverage: not just that Kargo bought a CTV company, but that the bet was on contextual targeting for streaming, show-level and scene-level understanding of what’s actually on screen.
The article got the strategic logic right. Kargo had premium relationships and needed CTV technology. We had the technology and needed distribution. That was the deal.
